Misty Morning Run

The alarm went off this morning and it took an effort to get out of bed following a few little sips of vodka and tonic last night.   (THE GIN HAD RUN OUT)

Weather was poor and visibility virtually non existent which was a shame as this route would have been lovely on a clear day.

The "Blister" was patched up, the running sack filled with a little water and off I trotted to meet up with the little gang of club runners who fancied a longer distance rather than the usual Park run dash.

Of particular note was the name of the little shop we stopped off at for one of our crew to get water.

A mostly flat route from Tredegar to Pontsticill Reservoir with a few cheeky hills thrown in.  I found the run today quite hard  towards the end and it was was faster than last week but also I did an hour of leg strength stuff in the gym last night which probably had some impact.  (Surely not the V & T!)
